What is there to do?
The Sea of Cortez is one of the most biodiverse areas for sea life with our pocket of La Ventana being world famous for kiteboarding and wind surfing. The area attracts very active individuals who love to swim, dive, freedive, windsurf, kiteboard, fish, paddleboard, kayak, surf (further south) and explore. We also have 2 pools onsite, a full operating restaurant and access to the beach. La Paz down is 40-50 minutes away and a lovely little day trip. There are also world famous beaches such as La Balandra close and the bay of La Paz which is famous for whale sharks.
What airport do I fly into?
The closest Airport is La Paz and second closest is Cabo San Lucas.
If flying from Southern California you can fly to La Paz (the closest airport) from LAX direct or Tijuana (The most affordable - under $250 round trip) and direct to Cabo San Lucas from San Diego, John Wayne Airport or LAX.
How long is the airport transfer?
Casa Tara is 60 minutes from La Paz Airport and 2.5 hours from Cabo San Lucas Airport. That airport transfer from Cabo San Lucas is a lot more expensive than La Paz. Do consider this when booking flights.
