Why you’ll love this retreat

Our homes

Masseria Ferri is an agriturismo in the heart of Valle d'Itria operating as a farm and producing its own gorgeous olive oil, wine and cheese.

The most wonderful part of this beautiful place is that it is completely family run, with everyone taking great care of the land and their guests. Built in the 18th century, the Masseria has been beautifully maintained by the Ferri Family to respect the unique architecture of Puglia.

Yoga

There will be two daily yoga sessions (except on excursion days).

Practice will include meditation, pranayama and asana (1.5 - 2 hour sessions).

The practice is open to all levels as there will be several options given including ways to deepen the asanas for those advanced practitioners and modifications for those beginning.

Food

The benefits of staying in a Masseria that has a running farm, is fresh fresh fresh food! It doesn't get any better than that. All of the food is grown on the Masseria or bought from local markets. Everything tastes delicious and you will be sure to want to go home with a bottle of wine made from the Masseria grapes or their speciality cheese.

Dietary requirements can be taken into account but it is valuable to note that a lot of the meals will be traditional Italian dishes and include some dairy and gluten.

Excursions

We will be taking a few day trips to the most stunning parts of Puglia. The region has several beautiful little towns with their characteristic white washed walls. It also is home to some of the most stunning coastline and beaches in Italy.

If you are wanting to explore and love to have some independence it is valuable to rent a car.

They don’t call Italy “Il bel paese” - “The beautiful country” - for nothing, and it’s no coincidence. For my next project I decided once again to pay homage to my homeland, a place that always leaves an impression on my heart, the southern region of Puglia. There is a list called “1,000 Places To See Before You Die”. Casting a glance over it, one will notice that Italy - and Puglia in particular - boasts an enviable number of locations. With numerous UNESCO sites, pristine beaches, and enchanting destinations, it was difficult to restrict such beauty into a 2 minute video. But here it is anyway, a small taste of what this amazing region has to offer. I’m sure you’ll add it to your own list of 1000 places to see before you die! What our customers have to say

“Chloe and Christian are magicians! Every day we got to enjoy fantastic Yoga practices, explore beautiful towns and beaches, eat delicious meals - and yet also had time to relax without ever feeling rushed. They must have a secret way to slow down time! The fact that Christian is Italian allowed us to discover Puglia the way locals experience it and helped our program run smoothly and efficiently (he even managed to recover my ID after I lost it at the Brindisi airport...). Stress reduction guaranteed, both in and out of the Yoga studio!”

Alex, USA

“Christian and Chloe are the best! We had a fantastic time at their retreat in Italy. They are great teachers, fabulous hosts and kept everything running so smoothly while being flexible at the same time. 5 stars all the way.”

Jen & Mat, USA

“I’ve attended a lot of yoga classes with different teachers because I find difficult to achieve balance in your practice when the teacher makes you feel uncomfortable or sometimes even stress you out. Chloe and Christian are simply the best yoga teachers I had the chance to practice with. I enjoyed every moment of the time spent with them during two yoga retreats in Italy and would love to participate to another one this summer!”

Julie, France

“Book it!!!! This retreat had exactly the style and pace; the right balance of exercise and relaxation; excellent company and entertaining conversation; amazing food, cozy atmosphere, and breathtaking day trips. Christian and Chloe are incredibly warm hosts and skilled yoga practitioners. Their practice will keep you energized, centered, and feeling good in an incredibly picturesque and tranquil part of the world.”

Lyndy, USA

“The people who run the retreats are absolutely fantastic. They all made me feel that I belonged. The yoga classes and meals were unforgettable too! I highly recommend going on a yoga retreat with them.”

Hazel, UK

Puglia is one of Italy's more hidden gems located right on the heel of the boot.

The area however is becoming a more popular tourist destination as people discover the charms of this area: incredible baroque towns, the traditional 'trulli' houses, olive groves, orchards bursting with colours, blue seas, white sandy beaches and outstanding cuisine.
